MPC Capital AG|History
The history of MPC Holding, the largest shareholder of MPC Capital, dates back to 1846 when Hermann Münchmeyer formed a foreign trading company in Hamburg under the name of Münchmeyer & Co. This company was split up into a private merchant bank and a trading house in 1968. In 1972, the latter merged with Petersen & Co., a trading house established in 1911, to form MPC Münchmeyer Petersen & Co.

MPC Münchmeyer Petersen Capital was formed in 1994 and went public in 2000. While the company initially focused on the initiation of ship investments and Dutch real estate funds, the management soon decided to significantly expand the product range, setting an example for the development of the sector as a whole.

MPC Capital is now Germany's largest non-bank-owned issuing house, building on a wealth of experience and expertise with a focus on asset-oriented investment models in the three core segments of real estate, shipping and energy. As such we are committed to ensuring top quality in all our product lines. With innovative solutions, we seek to set new standards in the services we provide to our investors and sales partners.

We aim to earn the trust of our customers who place part of their financial future in the company's hands by business conduct that is driven by foresight and expertise.
